Information you provide
Our inquiry and client-intake forms collect your name, email address, message, and selected service. Depending on the form and what you choose to share, they also collect your business name, phone number, website, and service area. The submission includes the page where you opened the form and whether it is an inquiry or client intake.
We use these details to respond to your request, understand your project, and organize follow-up. We do not use website inquiry details for marketing beyond following up on the inquiry. Please do not put passwords, payment card details, or sensitive personal records in a website inquiry.
Services involved
- Vercel hosts the website and processes requests needed to serve and protect it.
- Resend sends inquiry notifications containing the submitted details to BDS.
- Google Workspace provides the BDS mailbox used for correspondence.
- Pipedrive organizes inquiry contact information, leads, and notes for follow-up.
- Stripe handles invoice payments and client billing through its hosted pages.
Website inquiry forms do not ask for payment card information. When you follow a Stripe billing link, the information you provide there is processed through Stripe. Other websites you choose to visit have their own privacy notices and practices.
Technical information and form protection
Hosting and security services may process technical request information, such as your IP address, requested page, and request time. The form uses temporary hashes of your email address and, when trusted proxy handling is enabled, your IP address to limit repeated submissions. Temporary submission hashes and delivery records also help avoid duplicates.
These temporary safeguards are separate from the inquiry records in email and CRM. Their expiry does not delete those inquiry records.
Campaign labels and browser storage
When a link includes campaign labels, the website can remember the first valid set in your browser's session storage to help BDS understand which campaign led to an inquiry. The optional labels are utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, and utm_content. Each label is limited to 100 characters: ASCII letters, numbers, spaces, underscores, periods, and hyphens. This feature stores the labels and their expiry time, not the full page URL, referring website, or advertising click IDs.
Labels are valid for 30 minutes from capture; moving between pages does not extend that window. Expired labels are not included when you submit a form. The website removes expired storage when its timer or a later check runs, so a suspended browser can delay physical removal. You can clear this site's browser storage, and unavailable storage does not prevent an inquiry.
If you submit an inquiry within that window, the labels are included with the inquiry in email and CRM. Those submitted labels remain part of the inquiry record; the 30-minute browser deadline does not delete them from email or CRM. Temporary CRM delivery recovery can also retain the original submitted labels for its 10-minute recovery window, so a retry can complete the original record after browser expiry. This feature adds no cookies, tracking-service requests, or additional tracking provider.
Retention and privacy requests
BDS does not have a fixed automatic deletion schedule for inquiry emails or CRM records. These records can remain after the inquiry is resolved; the expiry of temporary browser storage or form-protection records does not remove them. Contact BDS to ask about information you have provided or to request deletion.
For questions about information you have shared with BDS, or to request a correction or deletion, contact sirhc@bannisterdigitalstrategies.com. Please describe your request without sending sensitive records.
